Meet the Tribe
The Karuna Sisterhood
Dr. Z
Originally from Puerto Rico, I am a graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. As a Chiropractor, my passion is to make a difference in the health industry by educating my patients on prevention, quality of life, and achieving optimum health through better lifestyle choices.
A couple of years into my practice, I reached out to Dali, and we spoke about my career and personal journey. She shared her beautiful vision for Karuna and I was immediately hooked. I had personally experienced how life-changing, uplifting, and eye-opening it is to holistically address health through the mind, body, and spirit, so it was an easy sell.
My focus within Karuna is to share a light on the importance of detoxing our body from heavy metals, environmental toxins, bad bacteria, etc., prior to pursuing many wellness goals. A comprehensive detox can also do wonders for chronic degenerative conditions, chronic fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, weight loss resistance, and auto-immune disorders.

Another one of my passions is anything skincare which led me to create Pragma Bloom. As I figured out which products worked for my skin and my own battle with eczema, I became obsessed with researching and finding medical-grade products that were made with high-quality ingredients but were also cruelty-free. Pragma Bloom was born from this research, from my personal trials and errors, from my own belief that true beauty blooms from a healthy body and a healthy body stems from self-love.
Sherley
I see my experiences in life as a journey of discovery that is leading me to my purpose, to discovering who I am.

One of my callings is to guide others towards their own healing and prosperity. I have been a psychotherapist for over 15 years so I have had the honor of witnessing other’s journeys and healings every day.
After being in private practice for several years I felt the pull to explore alternative healing methods in my practice. This allowed me to expand my toolbox and offer life and relationship coaching, consulting, Hypnoanalysis, regressions, and Reiki.
I now strongly believe it is crucial to address the mind, body, and spirit, in my work with clients. I was pleasantly surprised that this expansion has also brought opportunities for me to travel to amazing places, to work with some fantastic businesses, and like-minded people.
I have found surrounding myself in a community of loving souls, who share my desire to help others, only adds to my work, and my continued journey.
Hola Mariola
Hola! I am Mariola, a 500hr Power Yoga Teacher located in Puerto Rico.
I’ve been in a committed relationship with yoga from the very first class I took in 2010. So much so, that in 2011 I enrolled in a 200hr YTT, and in 2012 a friend and I founded “Yoga Para Tod@s” (“Yoga for Everyone”), a donation-based yoga program housed inside the University of Puerto Rico.
The intention of this initiative was to make yoga accessible to students, while helping new teachers gain much needed experience and exposure.
“Yoga Para Tod@s” still stands strong with over 3,000 members in its online community.
Since the summer of 2018, I have consistently taught classes around the Island and have become a local resource for students in the west coast. My platform is called “CALMA ; YOGA”, a pun intended name which advocates for calm and is often (intentionally) confused with Karma Yoga.
I am a self-described traditional yogi. My approach focuses on the fundamental elements of yoga: alignment, pranayama, and mindfulness. I love integrating my surroundings in practice and use any possible distraction as a positive challenge for cultivating awareness. Throughout the asanas, I encourage my students to invite compassion and mental stillness, as well as to establish healthy boundaries and recognize their own limits, both on and off their mats.
You have found an enthusiastic, fun-loving, silly, sunset-chasing photographer that will make you laugh, help create candid and posed moments and capture your wedding day or family's connection in the most beautiful and authentic way.
Married 17 years with a teenager, a pre-teen and a toddler, I know about the mom-life. I also know about the images you desperately wish you had from your wedding day and how the heart has these little strings that pull when your child reaches new phases and milestones that you wish you'd have had documented.
After teaching high school for 5 years, I pride myself on patience and humor. I adore the quirky wedding, the bride that wants something out of the ordinary and I love the family with big personalities, high energy and spunk.
Bring me your unbridled toddler or your crazy groomsmen!
I've been creating art as long as I can remember, but nothing means more to me than capturing your life's fleeting moments and creating artwork that will stick with your family for generations to come.
Every person wants to have precious photos to look back on one day.
Hire someone with an eye for candid moments and who will make you belly-laugh until the sun goes down!
